Headquartered in the Washington DC area, the Efficiency Group is a small, minority-owned Lean Six Sigma training and consulting firm. We believe that any business or government organization function can benefit from the application of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) techniques to improve operational efficiency and performance.
Our leadership and staff have led hundreds of Kaizen events in support of increasing process efficiency for a number of government agencies and private sector companies.
Our proprietary HELIX approach emphasizes understanding and working within an organization’s culture to deploy improved business processes and support business process optimization.
We have successfully deployed HELIX to improve diverse processes at the EPA’s Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance, the National Institutes of Health, National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NIH/NHLBI), the Department of State, Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration Refugee Processing Center, the Department of Energy’s, Energy Information Administration (EIA) and others.
Frank Vega, Founder and CEO
Frank Vega is a certified Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Master Black Belt.Â
He earned his Lean Certification from Villanova University, and his Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification from the Management and Strategy Institute. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University [Los Angeles] and a Master’s Degree in International Relations and US Foreign Policy from The American University. Frank has supported public and private sector organizations in improving operational efficiency and performance for over 20 years using Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques.
Frank has trained hundreds of staff at organizations such as the Department of State, the Environmental Protection Agency, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), the Department of Energy (DOE) and many others.Â
